Airport Chinese Conversation Guide: Check-In, Security, and Arrival Phrases

Airport Chinese becomes easier when you divide the trip into predictable moments: check-in, baggage, security, boarding, immigration, lost luggage, and transport after arrival.

You do not need long speeches. Short phrases such as 我要办理登机, 我有一件行李, 登机口在哪里, and 我的航班延误了吗 cover many realistic airport interactions.

For each phrase, prepare the answer you may hear. If you ask 登机口在哪里, listen for numbers, directions, and time words. If staff asks 有托运行李吗, answer with 有 or 没有 plus the number of bags.

Pairing your question with possible replies builds listening confidence, not just phrase memorization.
