Chinese Shopping Mall & Department Store — 商场, 专柜, and 试穿 for In-Store Shopping

A shopping mall is 商场 (shāng chǎng) or 购物中心 (gòu wù zhōng xīn), and a department store is 百货商店 (bǎi huò shāng diàn). To ask which floor something is on, use 在几楼 (zài jǐ lóu): 女装区在几楼 (nǚ zhuāng qū zài jǐ lóu) — which floor is the women wear section on? Answer with 楼 (lóu) — floor: 在三楼 (zài sān lóu) — on the third floor.

Useful navigation words: 电梯 (diàn tī) elevator, 扶梯 (fú tī) escalator, 导购台 (dǎo gòu tái) information desk, 楼层图 (lóu céng tú) floor map, 洗手间 (xǐ shǒu jiān) restroom, 出口 (chū kǒu) exit. To ask directions: 请问童装区怎么走 (qǐng wèn tóng zhuāng qū zěn me zǒu) — how do I get to the children wear section?
